CQS New City Appoints Caroline Hitch As Non-Executive Director

LONDON (Alliance News) - CQS New City High Yield Fund Ltd said Friday that former HSBC Holdings PLC executive Caroline Hitch has joined the board of the company as non-executive director.

Hitch worked for 24 years at HSBC, where she had an investment focus on multi asset portfolios and a particular interest in transparency and governance. She also has worked for James Capel and Standard Chartered PLC.

"I am delighted to welcome Caroline to the board. Her fund management background and governance expertise complement and deepen the board's resources, and I am delighted that she has chosen to join us," Chairman Jimmy West said.

Hitch currently owns 92,000 shares in the company. Shares in the investment company were down 0.2% at 60.09 pence on Friday.
