LONDON (Alliance News) - CPL Resources PLC said Monday it has had a good start to its new financial year as it appointed Elaine Coughlan as new independent non-executive director to the board.
Coughlan is the founder of Atlantic Bridge, a global growth technology fund and she is a non-executive director of the Board of Enterprise Ireland.
At its annual general meeting, the company said its Flexible Talent division continued to "grow at pace".
Furthermore, the firm's Permanent division is performing in line with expectations, CPL added.
Looking ahead, the company said it continues to pursue growth and to explore potential partnerships and acquisitions.
"Overall economic indicators today remain positive and we expect to perform slightly ahead of current market expectations in the months ahead," CPL said.
It added: "The effects of Brexit still remain unclear and our position remains that it will present both challenges and opportunities for CPL."
CPL shares closed up 2.9% at 530.00 pence.
