(Correcting that Martin Green, and not Roger Freeman, was formerly the director of AG Holding Ltd.)
(Alliance News) - Energy storage firm ITM Power PLC on Monday said it has appointed Martin Green as a non-executive director, replacing retiring Roger Freeman.
Green was formerly the director of AG Holding Ltd, a subsidiary of London-listed Johnson Matthey PLC. He was also the director of Johnson Matthey's Battery Systems Engineering Ltd subsidiary.
Chair Roger Putnam said: "On behalf of my fellow directors, I welcome Green to the board as a non-executive director whose strategic and technical experience will add significant value to our discussions. I thank Freeman for his contribution to the direction of ITM Power over the past nine years and wish him well for the future."
Also on Monday, ITM noted that it will release its results for the year ended April 30 in early October.
Shares in ITM were 5.7% higher at 48.08 pence each in London on Wednesday afternoon.
