(Correcting a reference to the new CFO's name to McBride.)
(Alliance News) - Moneysupermarket.com Group PLC on Monday said it has hired Niall McBride as chief financial officer, subject to regulatory approval.
The FTSE 250-listed comparison site operator said McBride is currently CFO at Ocado Retail Ltd, a joint venture between Marks & Spencer Group PLC and Ocado Group PLC. Prior to this, he was a managing director at Rothschild & Co Bank International Ltd.
The company said McBride will start no later than April 3 next year. He will replace Scilla Grimble, who will leave for Deliveroo PLC, as announced back in June.
Chief Executive Officer Peter Duffy said McBride "brings strong digital and consumer experience".
Shares were down 1.5% at 178.80 pence each on Wednesday morning in London.
