(Correcting that the company's revenue in 2017 was GBP6.6 million).

LONDON (Alliance News) - Norman Broadbent PLC on Wednesday said it expects its 2018 revenue to be the highest in over 10 years as it made "significant progress towards a return to profitability".

For 2018, the management consulting firm is guiding for revenue of GBP9.2 million, up by GBP2.6 million, from GBP6.6 million a year ago.

Group net fee income for the year increased by GBP1.6 million, or 32%, to GBP6.6 million.

From an operating performance point of view, the company expects to report a GBP600,000 loss, a "significant improvement" of last year's GBP1.6 million loss.

Furthermore, the firm expects its pretax loss to narrow to GBP700,000 from GBP1.6 million.

"Our 2018 unaudited results evidence our continued positive momentum, as a result of consistently delivering high quality innovative solutions for clients. There is positive trajectory in top line growth and a further significant reduction of losses," Chief Executive Mike Brennan said.
