LONDON (Alliance News) - Maistro PLC, an online marketplace for service providers, said Thursday its revenue for the six months ended June 30 is expected to exceed that of the entire 2017.
For 2017, the company posted revenue of USD766,899.
Maistro added that the expected increase in revenue is contributing to "management confidence that this trend will accelerate into 2019 and beyond".
In the first half of the year, gross margin performance has kept its "upward trajectory", the company said.
"The company is pleased with the continued rate of repeat business in its core multinational enterprise customer base together with an increase in project size and commensurate revenue," Maistro said.
Looking ahead, Chief Executive Officer Laurence Cook said the board is confident in the future as the company continues to "roll out to our new customers".
Shares in the company closed up 11% at 5.00 pence each. Earlier today they were trading up 17%.
