LONDON (Alliance News) - Atlas Mara Co-Nvest Ltd Monday said it intends to make an offer for the 4.2% of ABC Holdings it doesn't already own.
In a statement, Atlas Mara, which was co-founded by former Barclays PLC Chief Executive Bob Diamond, said it will offer cash or an equivalent amount in shares to minority shareholders.
It will offer BWP7.49, equivalent to USD0.82, in cash for each ABC share listed on the Botswana Stock Exchange, and USD0.82 for each share listed on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange.
Minority shareholders who choose to receive Atlas Mara shares will receive 0.0683 ordinary shares for each ABC share held.
Atlas Mara shares Monday closed down 6.3% at USD9.75.
