LONDON (Alliance News) - Coro Energy PLC on Friday confirmed Chief Financial Officer Andrew Dennan has now joined the firm's board.
Dennan's board appointment was announced at the end of February, but Coro did not say exactly when it would happen.
Coro shares were 1.4% higher on Friday at a price of 2.13 pence each.
On Thursday, Coro had said it was "disappointed" it would not be going ahead with an offer for Ophir Energy PLC. Coro in March expressed an interest over a possible 40 pence per share bid for peer Ophir, which would see Ophir shareholders own the great majority of the new firm.
However, Ophir on Thursday agreed to a new GBP408.4 million, 57.5p per share offer from Indonesia's PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk.
