LONDON (Alliance News) - Corero Network Security PLC on Tuesday said it has secured a contract to provide its SmartWall Threat Defense System to a US-based regional network services provider.
Corero said the order is worth USD700,000 and will protect the company's network against cyber attacks.
"Service providers are increasingly seeing the value of the Corero approach to solving DDoS challenges through 'always on', automatic threat protection and visibility as opposed to legacy monitoring and on-demand scrubbing solutions requiring manual intervention," said Chief Executive Ashley Stephenson.
Corero shares were up 4.0% on the news to 14.30 pence on Tuesday.
