(Alliance News) - Corero Network Security PLC on Monday said it has secured two new customer orders and two expansion orders from existing customers, totalling USD1.0 million.
The network security company said the orders are for its for SmartWall distributed denial of service protection products.
Corero said the first order is with an undisclosed infrastructure provider, which has deployed SmartWall 10Gps products in multiple data centres, with a supporting one-year contract for SecureWatch services. This order follows a trial in which Corero, it said, demonstrated SmartWall's real-time DDoS protection as critical for delivering latency sensitive cloud hosting services.
Another unnamed client, an internet service provider, has also ordered a suite of SmartWall 10Gps products, Corero said.
In addition, the company's existing undisclosed cloud security customer has ordered a suite of SmartWall 10Gps products, with a supporting three-year contract for SecureWatch services, to protect its additional internet capacity which supports its growing business.
Finally, an unnamed cloud services provider and long-standing Corero customer has ordered SmartWall 10Gps products, with a supporting three-year contract for SecureWatch services, for two additional data centre sites.
"These significant customer orders further demonstrate the continued demand for our SmartWall products," said Corero Chief Executive Ashley Stephenson.
"We are pleased to support these customers as they increase the security and scale of their networks to deliver the services that power their respective businesses," added Stephenson.
Corero shares were trading 1.3% higher on Monday in London at 7.47 pence each.
