LONDON (Alliance News) - Corero Network Security PLC, the network-security provider confirms Monday that is has appointed Ashley Stephenson as its new Chief Executive Officer, following the completion of the sale of Corero Business Systems Limited on August 1.
It also said that Andrew Miller has formally taken on the role of Chief Financial Officer, having previously been Chief Operating Officer.
Ashley Stephenson, first joined the company as executive vice president of the Network Security division in March 2012, and was appointed CEO of the division in January 2013. The sale of the business systems unit to Civica UK Limited, announced in July, resulted in Corero focusing exclusively on network security.
Stephenson has co-founded and led a number of IT companies including Reva Systems Corporation and Xedia Corporation.
Corero Network Security shares were up 2.6% or 0.38 pence Monday morning, trading at 14.75 pence per share.
