(Alliance News) - Corero Network Security PLC on Monday said it has made a strong start to 2020 with USD1 million worth of contract wins for its SmartWall suite of network protection products.
The company has secured a new one-year contract for its SmartWall Distributed Denial of Service, or DDoS, protection product from a US regional internet and telephony services provider. It has further won a three-year contract for its SmartWall solution from a separate US-based provider of hosting, data protection and colocation services.
In addition, Corero has netted an order from an existing SaaS customer for SmartWall solutions with a supporting three-year contract for SecureWatch services.
"The deployment of these Corero SmartWall solutions will enable these customers to provide DDoS protected services to their end-user customers, which is an important part of their respective offerings given the increasing threat of and growth in DDoS attacks," Corero said.
Corero Network shares in London were up 16% at 6.0 pence each on Monday morning.
