(Alliance News) - Corero Network Security PLC on Tuesday said it expects to post a "record performance", driven by growth in services and software subscription orders in the first half of 2021.
The Amersham, Buckinghamshire-based cyber defence firm said it expects to achieve order intake of USD8.9 million in the six months to June 30, having reported USD7.9 million for the first half of 2020.
It also predicted revenue growth of 34% to USD8.3 million in the half-year. The increases come as Corero added 20 new customers, having added 18 in the first half of 2020.
"It is very encouraging to see our sales and marketing initiatives delivering new customers, broadening our geographic reach and increasing our penetration into new verticals," said Chief Executive Lionel Chmilewsky.
"Our pipeline for the second half of 2021 remains strong."
Corero's gross cash for the first half of 2021 was USD8.8 million, a drop from its peak of USD10.1 million at the end of 2020.
Shares in Corero closed up 0.4% at 11.30 pence each in London on Tuesday.
