(Alliance News) - Cordel Group PLC on Monday placed its interim Chief Executive Officer John Davis into the permanent role, effective immediately.
Cordel is a London-based artificial Intelligence platform for transport corridor analytics.
Davis has been a non-executive director of the company since 2018 and has served as interim CEO since March 1.
At the time, former CEO Nick Smith resigned in order to take up a new position as vice president for Europe & Middle East.
Chair Ian Buddery said: "We are delighted that John applied for the permanent CEO position, as part of our search process. He was clearly the best qualified and equipped candidate, bringing extensive executive managerial experience and deep knowledge of our market, technology and business."
Shares in Cordel were down 0.7% to 6.70 pence each in London on Monday morning
