Cora Gold Reports "Encouraging" Results From Sanankoro Drilling

26th Feb 2019 14:59

LONDON (Alliance News) - Cora Gold Ltd on Tuesday reported "encouraging" results for the completed reverse circulation drilling at the Sanankoro gold discovery in Southern Mali.

Among the drilling highlights, the company discovered eight metres at 3.17 grams per tonne of gold from 69 metres.

"These initial results from our latest drill programme are particularly encouraging. The results reported from the zone A prospect vindicate our strategy of focusing on oxide deposit areas that have the potential to become higher grade starter pits for a future development opportunity," Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Forster said.

Cora Gold shares were trading down 1.2% at 5.98 pence each.
