Cora Gold Progresses On Scoping Study At Sanankoro Gold Project

18th Dec 2019 14:56

(Alliance News) - Cora Gold Ltd on Wednesday said it expects the scoping study results on the Sanankoro gold project in January next year to show potential.

The West Africa-focused gold exploration company said it is progressing a scoping study on the Sanankoro project, located in southern Mali, to understand its potential to be a standalone oxide mining operation.

Cora Gold said it anticipates finalising the document and announcing the results of the scoping study in early January 2020.

"We remain confident that the initial scoping study will demonstrate Sanankoro's potential to be a profitable standalone oxide mining operation and look forward to announcing the results in early 2020," said Chief Executive Jonathan Forster.

The stock was trading 0.9% higher in London on Wednesday afternoon at 5.55 pence a share.
