Cora Gold Non-Executive Bowie Replaces Outgoing Chair McNamara

(Alliance News) - Cora Gold Ltd on Tuesday said Geoffrey McNamara has resigned as a non-executive director and chair with immediate effect due to personal commitments.

The West Africa focused gold exploration company said Non-Executive Director Edward Bowie has been appointed as chair, also with immediate effect.

The AIM-listed company said it intends to undertake a search for an additional non-executive director.

"The board of directors would like to record their gratitude and sincere thanks to Mr McNamara for all his hard work over the years and wish him all the best for the future," Cora said in its statement Tuesday.

The stock was trading 0.7% higher in London on Tuesday at 5.92 pence a share.
