Conygar Submits Planning Application For Cross Hands Development

21st Apr 2016 08:25

LONDON (Alliance News) - Conygar Investment Co PLC on Thursday said it has submitted a planning application for its Cross Hands development in south west Wales.

Conygar has submitted an application to Carmarthenshire Council for the project, which comprises a 106,000 square feet retail development.

Conygar said should planning permission be secured over the summer, construction should start later in the year and would be funded from existing cash resources.

"The proposed development will offer attractive new retail outlets, which will not only support and enhance Cross Hands town centre, but offer significant regeneration benefits in the locality," said Robert Ware, Conygar's chief executive.

Conygar shares were untraded on Thursday, having last traded at 159.00 pence.
