Conygar Sells Site 2 At Aker Village In Aberdeen For GBP7.5 Million

LONDON (Alliance News) - The Conygar Investment Company PLC said it has sold Site 2 at Aker Village, Aberdeen in a deal worth GBP7.5 million, a surplus of GBP700,000 over its valuation in September.

Conygar did't name the buyer.

Last month, the property development group sold Site 1 for GBP8.0 million, a GBP540,000 surplus over the September 2013 valuation.

Site 2 comprises a 60,000 sq ft detached warehouse let to Aker Business Services Ltd at a rent of GBP570,490 a year.

"Further to our recent sale of Site 1, Aker Village, Aberdeen, we are pleased to have again been able to take advantage of an improving market to dispose of another part of our holding and to have crystallised a significant surplus over our book value, " Chief Executive Robert Ware said in a statement.

Conygar shares were quoted up 0.5% at 177.88 pence Friday morning.
