(Alliance News) - ContourGlobal PLC said on Friday that Non-Executive Director Ruth Cairnie will leave the company in order to focus on her role as chair of defence contractor Babcock International Group PLC.
Cairnie, a member of ContourGlobal's remuneration committee, will step down on September 30 and the company said it has started a selection process to find an additional non-executive director.
Cairnie was appointed as Babcock's chair designate in April before officially replacing Mike Turner in July.
She currently serves as non-executive director at Primark-owner Associated British Foods PLC and engine maker Rolls-Royce Holdings PLC.
ContourGlobal Chair Craig Huff said: "It has been a pleasure to work with Cairnie who has served on the board since January 2018. On behalf of ContourGlobal, I would like to thank Cairnie for her service and valuable contributions as non-Executive director of the company. I wish her all the best and every success in her new role."
Shares in ContourGlobal were up 0.4% at 164.60 pence each in London on Friday afternoon.
