LONDON (Alliance News) - Connemara Mining Co PLC on Friday said the preliminary drilling programme for the Inishowen gold licences in County Donegal in Ireland has started.
The drilling follows a trenching programme undertaken at the end of 2015, it said.
Four short diamond drill holes will be targeting those positive trenching results.
"The drilling, which starts today in Donegal is the next step on a long road toward a potential commercial gold discovery," said Chairman John Teeling.
Connemara shares were untraded on Friday, having last traded at 1.30 pence.
