LONDON (Alliance News) - AIM-listed gold miner Connemara Mining Co PLC on Tuesday said drilling has started on the gold target on the Inishowen peninsula in Donegal, Ireland.
"The first of four holes was at 70 metres last night. Target depth for each hole is 250 metres spaced 100 metres apart. Holes are being drilled at a 45 degree angle aiming to intersect the veins, at least seven, identified in previous drilling," Connemara said in a statement.
The campaign will last for up to three weeks with initial results expected by early July.
Shares in Connemara were down 1.9% at 2.60 pence Tuesday.
