LONDON (Alliance News) - Condor Gold PLC on Friday said it has intercepted high-grade gold mineralisation at the La India project in Nicaragua.
Condor has completed nearly half of the 4,000 metre drilling programme at the site and has intercepted a gold intersection at 10.2 grams per tonne of gold.
"This high-grade intercept demonstrates that the underground mining potential at La India may currently be significantly underestimated," said Condor Chief Executive Mark Child.
Shares in Condor were down 1.3% to 65.12196 pence.
