Condor Gold Formally Submits Environmental Plan For La India Mine

1st Dec 2015 09:42

LONDON (Alliance News) - Condor Gold PLC on Tuesday said it has completed the environmental impact assessment and formally submitted its application for an environmental permit for the La India gold project in Nicaragua.

The assessment takes into account a processing plant which would have a capacity of 2,200 to 2,800 tonnes per day.

"Condor Gold's completion of an environmental impact assessment and application for an environmental permit was a key objective for us in 2015 and is a major step towards our plan of fully permitting a gold mine initially producing circa 100,000 ounces of gold per annum from a single pit," said Chief Executive Mark Child.

Condor shares were up 1.8% to 30.02 pence Tuesday morning.
