Condor Gold Appoints Dave Crawford As Chief Operating Officer

26th Mar 2014 12:14

LONDON (Alliance News) - Condor Gold PLC Wednesday said Dave Crawford has been appointed the chief operating officer of the company in order to develop the company's flagship La India Project in Nicaragua.

The gold exploration company said Crawford has 37 years experience in the mining industry and has worked full time as a consultant for Condor Gold since December 1, 2013.

"Dave's experience strengthens the operating team as Condor transitions from a gold exploration company and aims to produce Pre-Feasibility Studies and Bankable Feasibility Studies on La India Project, which has the potential for being one of Nicaragua's largest producing gold mines," Chief Executive Mark Child said in a statement.

The company's La India project contains a total attributable mineral resource of 18.4 million tonnes at 3.9 grams per tonne for 2.33 million ounces gold and 2.68 million ounces silver at 6.2 grams per tonne, and is being developed towards Pre-Feasibility Study and Bankable Feasibility Study.

Condor Gold shares were down 1.2% to 75.60 pence Wednesday.
