Concurrent Technologies Profit Down From 2017 But Meets Expectations

LONDON (Alliance News) - Concurrent Technologies PLC on Thursday said it expects its annual profit to have fallen from 2017, in line with market expectations.

Shares in Concurrent Technologies were up 5.9% at 70.40 pence on Thursday afternoon.

Based on its unaudited accounts for 2018, the computer products manufacturer and designer is expecting to post a pretax profit of GBP2.8 million, dropping from GBP3.0 million in 2017.

The company confirmed it expects to continue to pay a further interim dividend to shareholders on or before April 5.

For the six months to June 30, Concurrent posted a pretax profit of GBP1.1 million, down from GBP1.4 million for the year ago period.

For the same six month period, Concurrent' revenue remained broadly flat at GBP7.9 million, compared to GBP7.8 million the year before.
