LONDON (Alliance News) - Concurrent Technologies PLC on Thursday reported flat annual profit and said that it looks forwards to 2019 with confidence.
For 2018, the computer boards manufacturer posted pretax profit of GBP3.0 million. Revenue rose to GBP16.6 million from GBP16.2 million.
The company's cost of sales rose marginally to GBP8.0 million from GBP7.2 million, offsetting the impact of revenue rise on the company's profitability.
Concurrent Technologies proposed a total dividend of 2.30 pence per share, up from 2.20p a year ago. This was after proposing a second interim dividend of 1.35p.
Looking ahead, the company said 2019 started with a "very strong order book" giving the board confidence in the performance for the first half of 2019 and for the year as a whole.
Concurrent Technologies shares were flat at 73.00 pence each on Thursday.
