LONDON (Alliance News) - Concurrent Technologies PLC said Wednesday it has launched a new product in its VME range of embedded processor boards.
Concurrent designs and manufactures embedded computer products for the defence, aerospace, telecommunications, transportation, scientific and industrial markets.
The new board, the VP F1x/msd, incorporates a 4th generation Intel Core i7 processor. Concurrent said the new product will be appealing for customers in the military, aerospace and government markets.
"Having now announced three new VME boards in 2015, we have demonstrated our commitment to support those VME customers needing long-life cycle boards based on Intel processors. We are continuing to enhance our portfolio with dependable products that can be deployed in a range of environmental conditions. These are complimented with software and firmware packages to enhance security, speed up boot times and simplify integration," said Chief Executive Officer Glen Fawcett in a statement.
Shares in Concurrent were up 2.6% at 62.10 pence Wednesday.
