LONDON (Alliance News) - Concha PLC on Thursday said it is "not aware" of any press speculation which may have contributed to the recent volatility in its share price.
Shares in Concha were down 52% at 2.28 pence on Thursday afternoon.
The investment company said it is "constantly reviewing" potential acquisitions.
Concha, which has previously noted ongoing talks about a "specific global opportunity within its investment scope", reiterated on Thursday that "discussions are continuing and the board continues to focus on achieving the desired outcome for the benefit of shareholders".
The company said there can be no guarantee that the investment will be completed.
