LONDON (Alliance News) - Shares rose in Concepta PLC on Monday as its myLotus branded product range has received CE-mark regulatory approval.
Shares in the UK healthcare company rose 13% at 3.40 pence on Monday.
The CE certification represents a major milestone for Concepta, allowing it to sell myLotus in the UK market and also in CE-mark territories.
MyLotus is a mobile application which allows women to monitor and track fertility.
Concepta said it expects to launch its new fertility products under the brand name through it new eCommerce platform and its website.
"Novel self-test diagnostics for home-use is a highly regulated field of healthcare and this is a fabulous and eagerly awaited endorsement for the company. Importantly the certification signals our drive to help improve the chances of women naturally getting pregnant and our preparations for the launch of myLotus in the UK and other CE-Mark territories. We will advise on the timing of the UK launch very shortly," said Chairman Matthew Walls.
