LONDON (Alliance News) - Concepta PLC said on Friday it has reached an agreement with Boots UK, a subsidiary of Walgreens Boots Alliance, to supply the pharmacy chain with its women's fertility and hormone testing product myLotus.
The UK healthcare company's myLotus is a home based self-test product. Launched in November 2018, it allows women to measure menstrual cycle hormone changes and hormone patterns thus enabling them to determine when they are most fertile.
The product has also recently received CE-Mark certification, which will allow the company to have its product sold online on the Boots website as well as at other Walgreens Boots Alliance partners in the EU.
The Boots supply agreement represents the first commercial partnership forming part of Concepta's strategy to roll out its products to the EU.
"We are delighted to work with such a respected British high-street brand and retailer and look forward to supplying myLotus to Boots UK to help improve the chances of a natural pregnancy. We are now preparing our EU market roll-out plans and awaiting our first pregnancies and will update the market in due course," said Chair Matthew Walls.
Shares of Concepta were up 4.6% at 3.45 pence each on Friday.
