LONDON (Alliance News) - Smart buildings company Coms PLC on Thursday said its Connect IB subsidiary has won a contract with the owners and management agents of a major, unnamed shopping centre on the south coast of the UK.
The contract will cover the implementation of smart technologies in the centre, along with real-time analytical reporting on shopper activity within the centre and immediate surrounding area.
Coms said the service it provides will use smartphone and beacon technology to provide location-based services, loyalty, car parking integration and digital wayfinding within the centre and car park.
No financial details were disclosed.
Coms shares were up 0.7% to 1.46 pence Thursday.
