Coms Wins Almost GBP2 Million Worth Of New Contracts

LONDON (Alliance News) - Coms PLC Wednesday announced new contract wins worth almost GBP2 million, including GBP1.4 million worth of deals at its Redstone unit for installing structured cabling to a number of investment banks and NHS trusts.

In a statement, the company said Redstone had also won GBP100,000 of maintenance deals for business services providers.

Additionally, its wholesale unit had won hosted telephony traffic contracts from two resellers worth GBP260,000 a year, it had retained a GBP94,000 contract to provide IT support for a London authority, won contracts worth GBP65,000 to provide telephony for three other companies, and a GBP30,000 deal for its media unit from a drinks manufacturer.

Coms has been giving regular updates on its contract wins. In early March it said it was exceeding its revenue targets after winning two new contracts. In late February it said it had won new deals worth GBP1.73 million, while earlier that month it had announced contract wins worth GBP715,000.

Coms shares were down 3.2% at 6.9 pence Wednesday morning.
