LONDON (Alliance News) - Computacenter PLC has promoted current Non-Executive Director Peter Ryan to the position of non-executive chair.
Ryan joined the board of FTSE 250 Computacenter in February last year, and will take up his new role on May 16 after the firm's annual general meeting.
He replaces outgoing Non-Executive Chair Greg Lock, who departs after 11 years in the role.
Ryan's former roles include chief sales officer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co and chief client officer at IT and management consultancy firm Logica PLC, which is now part of Canada's CGI Group Inc.
Computacenter Senior Independent Director Ros Rivaz, who led the selection process, commented: "I am pleased Peter has been chosen to succeed Greg as chair. We ran a good process to determine the best possible candidate to lead the board through the next phase in the company's development."
