LONDON (Alliance News) - Collagen Solutions PLC on Wednesday said it has struck a collaboration agreement with Blond McIndoe Research Foundation, a regenerative medicine non-profit group based at Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead.
The pilot study will investigate the use of human skin cells used in formulation with Collagen's medical-grade collagen components to develop a more effective treatment for burns.
The pair said the hope is the findings will reduce the burden and limitations of skin grafting for burn victims.
Collagen shares were untraded Wednesday, having last traded at 6.50 pence.
