LONDON (Alliance News) - Technology company Cohort PLC said Thursday its subsidiary Marlborough Communications LTD was awarded a contract by the United Kingdom Ministry Of Defence.
Under the contract, Marlborough will provide the UK armed forces with tactical hearing protection systems for the dismounted close combat user.
The initial order value is GBP11.2 million and further orders are expected over the four year contact duration, said Cohort. The contract has an option to be extended for a further three years.
"The contract will add significantly to our already strong order book, which substantially underpins our revenues for Cohort's current financial year," said Cohort Chief Executive Andrew Thomis.
