LONDON (Alliance News) - Technology company Cohort PLC on Thursday said its SEA subsidiary has won another order from UK defence contractor BAE Systems PLC.
Under the order, worth up to GBP17.0 million, SEA will provide its external communications system to BAE under its contract with the Royal Navy.
The system allows new communications equipment to be fitted faster and at a lower cost than in the past Cohort said.
"I am delighted that this important programme is continuing in line with our expectations. This substantial new order builds on the award in 2014, and we look forward to continuing our successful relationship with BAE Systems and the Royal Navy," said Andrew Thomis, Cohort's chief executive.
Cohort shares were up 3.9% to 386.50 pence.
