LONDON (Alliance News) - Technology group Cohort PLC said Tuesday its subsidiary MASS has won a contract to supply Electronic Warfare Operational Support services with an undisclosed export customer worth over GBP3 million.
Cohort said work on the contract will begin immediately, and it will contribute to its revenue in its current year and beyond.
"The award of this contract further highlights that MASS's specialist skills are in demand to our global customers. It reinforces MASS's reputation as the UK's leading provider of independent EW Operational Support services," said Chief Executive Andrew Thomis in a statement.
Elsewhere, the company said that the Portugeuse authorities have asked it to extend the deadline for the completion of its acquisition of Empresa de Investigação e Desenvolvimento de Electrónica SA, due to resource issues in the department responsible for review the transaction. It now expects the deal to be completed by mid-December.
Shares in Cohort were up 1.6% at 383.00 pence Tuesday morning.
