LONDON (Alliance News) - Technology company Cohort PLC on Wednesday said its SCS division has won a follow-on contract to provide training and exercise support services for the Joint Warfare Division of the UK's Joint Forces Command.
Cohort said it secured the one-year extension to the contract, awarded by the UK's Ministry of Defence, meaning the deal will now run until March 2016.
The exact value of the contract is confidential, Cohort said, but is in excess of GBP3 million.
"This contract award from the Joint Forces Command once again demonstrates that SCS is a world leader in operational level exercise support services. This award further enhances the Group's market leading position and provides an excellent reference for similar opportunities in the UK and overseas," said Cohort Chief Executive Andrew Thomis.
