(Alliance News) - Codemasters Group Holdings PLC said Wednesday that the release of its new licensed IP game Fast & Furious Crossroads has been scheduled for August 7 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
On Friday last week, the video game developer said it has delayed the release of the game to its second quarter ending September 30 from the month of May.
In March, Codemasters had said the game's release date was uncertain, following the decision by Universal Pictures to delay the next film in the Fast & Furious franchise to April 2021.
The F9 film was expected to be released in May, and Codemasters was intending to launch the game alongside the film.
Shares in Codemasters were up 0.5% at 306.40 pence early Thursday in London.
