Codemasters Expects Full Year To Be In Line With Expectations

8th Oct 2018 11:22

LONDON (Alliance News) - Video games developer Codemasters Group Holdings PLC said Monday it remains confident that performance for the current financial year will be in line with management expectations.

For the six months to the end of September, Codemasters generated GBP39.7 million in revenue, of which 53% were derived from Digital sales.

The company's newest game ONRUSH, made a smaller contribution than other revenue streams in the period, and is not expected to make a meaningful contribution in the second half of the year ending March 31.

F1 2018, the latest Formula One racing game, has had strong sales across all gaming platforms and is expected to make a considerable contribution to revenue in the second half of the year, benefitting from the Christmas period.

In the second half of the year, Codemasters will launch F1 Mobile racing, a free-to-play mobile game, followed by DiRT Rally 2.0 on February 26, 2019.

Codemasters will publish its interim results on November 13.

Shares in Codemasters were down 0.9% at 175.00 pence on Monday.
