(Alliance News) - Coca-Cola HBC AG on Thursday said Michalis Imellos will step down as chief financial officer at the end of the first quarter of 2021.
Imellos was hired as CFO at the Zug, Switzerland-based soft drinks bottling company in 2012. He will continue in his role until his successor has been hired and then remain with the company during a transition period.
"On behalf of everyone at Coca-Cola HBC, I would like to thank Michalis for his strong commitment and valuable contributions to the company. In the last eight years as group CFO, Michalis has been instrumental in shaping and implementing key strategic decisions and initiatives that successfully navigated Coca-Cola HBC through periods of challenge and growth, while building a robust balance sheet and a strong team," said Chief Executive Zoran Bogdanovic.
Coca-Cola HBC shares were trading flat at 2,117.00 pence each, and down 18% from the start of the year.
