LONDON (Alliance News) - CML Microsystems PLC said Wednesday that revenue and profitability for the first months of its financial year were "marginally" ahead of its expectations.
However, the manufacturer of RF semiconductors said caution around raw material lead times and customer purchasing patterns has continued to impede performance in some areas.
As such, the company kept its outlook unchanged with revenue and profit expected to be weighted towards the second half.
"In line with our stated growth strategy, we have sustained our high levels of research and development activities with several new products projected to be launched to market during the latter part of the current financial year, adding to our potential future revenue streams," the company added.
CML shares were trading down 0.4% at 520.55 pence each.
