LONDON (Alliance News) - Semiconductors maker CML Microsystems PLC said Monday its expects full year revenue and profit to be ahead of the year prior after a "pleasing" second half performance.
For the year ended March, CML expects pretax profit to be around GBP4.6 million and revenue to be "close" to GBP31.7 million. For comparison, the year prior CML generated GBP4.2 million in pretax profit on GBP27.7 million revenue.
This implies year-on-year growth of 9.5% in pretax profit and 14% in revenue.
At the end of March, CML had net cash balances of GBP13.8 million. This was up from GBP12.5 million the year prior.
The forecast growth in revenue and profit followed what it described a "pleasing" performance over the second half of the year. CML will provide further details regarding its performance during the year, with its full year results on June 12.
Shares in CML were 2.2% lower at 555.00 pence on Monday.
