CML Chair Takes Up Finance Director Role As Succession Process Delayed

17th Jan 2020 10:30

(Alliance News) - CML Microsystems PLC said Friday Non-Executive Chair Nigel Clark will take on the additional role of financial director as the company delays the process to find a successor to current Financial Director Neil Pritchard.

In November, the Essex-based semiconductor manufacturer announced Pritchard's departure after five years in the role. He is to leave at the end of February.

CML, as part of the recruitment process, reviewed near-term objectives and senior management resources within its finance function. CML decided it would be best served by delaying the recruitment process into its next financial year, which starts April 1.

Looking ahead, CML does not expect the succession process to be completed during the first six months of its next financial year.

Shares in CML Microsystems were untraded on Friday, last quoted at 365.50 pence in London.
