LONDON (Alliance News) - CloudBuy PLC said Tuesday that it has teamed with Apsiz Services Ltd to has launched a business-to-business eMarketplace for small- and medium-sized enterprises called 'UK PLC'.
UK PLC will be open to all buyers at no cost, with invited suppliers paying a transaction fee of between 2% and 5%, cloudBuy said in a statement.
Apsiz was set up by former Managing Director of the UK Government Procurement Service, David Shields.
"This partnership brings together cloudBuy's easy to use technology and Apzis procurement expertise, to provide a 'one stop shop' for business purchases," said Chairman Ronald Duncan in a statement.
"Our suppliers have been carefully selected by procurement professionals with extensive experience of sourcing across all purchasing categories, ensuring that good quality and value are the foundation of UK PLC," Shields added.
Shares in cloudBuy are trading down 6.7% at 35.00 pence Tuesday morning.
