LONDON (Alliance News) - CloudBuy PLC on Friday said it has signed an extended deal with the Confederation of Indian Industry to provide the group with an online business-to-business marketplace.
CloudBuy, which provides cloud-based e-commerce marketplaces and business-to-business buyer and supplier services, said the agreement was announced as part of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the UK.
The new platform will provide secure e-commerce services to the more than 7,000 members of the confederation and will be open to non-members to participate.
"We are delighted to be working in partnership with the Confederation of Indian Industry and its members, to move B2B trade online," said CloudBuy Chief Executive Lyn Duncan.
Shares in CloudBuy were up 1.9% to 7.23 pence on Friday.
