(Alliance News) - Clipper Logistics PLC on Monday said it has signed a five-year contract to provide logistics services for UK clothing and homewares retailer Joules Group PLC.
The contract which is expected to commence in early 2020 will see Clipper dealing with inbound deliveries from UK-based and international suppliers in the fulfilment of orders for Joules' retail, e-commerce and wholesale customers.
"We are delighted to be entering this long-term partnership with Clipper for the operation of our distribution centre in Corby. Through the process we have been impressed with Clipper's capabilities and their cultural alignment with our business," said Joules Chief Financial Officer Marc Dench.
Shares in Clipper Logistics were 1.8% higher at 290.00 pence each on Monday morning in London. Joules was up 1.3% at 180.30p.
