LONDON (Alliance News) - Clipper Logistics PLC said Wednesday it hired Stuart Watson as a non-executive director with effect from Tuesday.
Watson - a chartered accountant - will serve as an independent non-executive and has taken up the position of chair of the audit committee. He was a partner at Ernst & Young from 1998 until his retirement in 2017.
"I am delighted to welcome Stuart to the board," Clipper Executive Chair Steve Parking said. "As our third independent non-executive director, this appointment enhances the skills and experience of the board as a whole, and ensures we have a balance between executive and non-executive directors on our board."
Shares in the retail-focused transport firm were unchanged at 265.00 pence on Wednesday.
