Clarkson Appoints Ed Warner As Acting Non-Executive Chairman

LONDON (Alliance News) - Clarkson PLC, a shipbroking service, on Monday said it has appointed Ed Warner as acting non-executive chairman whilst James Hughes-Hallett recovers from an illness.

During Hughes-Hallett's absence, the board's committee memberships will remain the same, Clarkson.

Warner has been a long-standing non-executive director of Clarkson, while also holding positions as chairman of derivatives exchange LMAX and of Grant Thornton UK LLP.

Clarkson is a shipbroker that offers sector research, on-hand logistical support, and full investment banking capabilities in shipping and offshore sectors.

Shares in Clarkson were trading up 0.3% at 3,145.00 pence Monday.
